I have been dying to share this photo of my great-nephew but I’ve had no excuse. Here it is anyway:

This Is Me:
![]()
I am a little fat. I like food; what can I say? I have dull hair: mousey. I don’t wear much make-up and have no need of a dressing table. If I look like a bag lady, I chose my own clothes. If I look nice, the Hub picked them for me. Despite all this, I am a little vain. This photograph is from 2003. I had to go back that far to find one of me that I liked. But I don’t really care: my husband still thinks I’m beautiful and if he doesn’t, he loves me enough to lie about it. I’m lucky. I have two boys. They never lie to me. Still, you can't have everything.

Poetry Can Be Fun…Honest
Today is National Poetry Day. I was going to bring you some fun and interesting facts about poetry, but you know what? There aren’t any. Not on the internet, anyway. Poetry is dull. By the way, remember to check out my poetry blog, I’m Not A Verse. * * * * * I did find […]

Fascinating False Facts?
Viewfromtheside offered fascinating as the weekend theme. I thought you might like some fascinating facts. Can you guess which, if any, are true? You can’t fold paper more than seven times. You can, actually, if you are young and determined and rope in your family and a shopping mall. From Wikipedia: In January 2002, while a […]

I Knew Him Back When
With apologies to Paul, who might not find this blog to be quite what he was expecting. Take a look at this You Tube video. This – boy? young man? lad? What do I call him? He’s of a similar age to Tory Boy but obviously we are not on similar terms. I’ll call him ‘person’ […]

My Perfect Old Bag
I have long been in search of the perfect handbag. It must be black; have a short and long handle, so that I can carry it down, under my arm, over my shoulder or over my chest; it must not be so big that I carry a load of junk around with me that I […]

This photo, while adorable, should carry a parental health warning: do not show to adolescent great-nephew!
Oh he’s so cute, so adorable. How old is he?
Um…eight moths, I think; but I’ve gone blank. Not such a great aunt!
You will have to think of an excuse when he grows up and finds out
LOL adorable!
Luckily, being a mere aunt, I’ll get away with it
Oooo, he’s gorgeous – glad you didn’t wait for an excuse to share him!
Sooo cute, Tilly!!! He could be in TV commercials and make zillions.
I love the expression on his face!
Perfect, isn’t it?
Someday, when his girlfriend finds this on the web (or his teenage daughter), he will thank you. Dianne
Not
The look on his face says: “I just know this is going to wind up on the internet!” Ha, Ha. Too cute.
Don’t worry about this getting out, by the time that it does, you can feign ignorance or you might have just forgotten and you won’t be feigning anything. I have two photos of my children exactly like your extremely adorable great nephew and they are proudly displayed out in the open. They don’t mind them. Your photo generates the sighs and the wistful smile that celebrates the possibility of a brand new life and how cute the little baby is, I love babies.
What a Bonny Baby! Will you produce this blog post when he is 16? LOL
Ooo! Good idea!
Sweet!
How can you be old enough to be a great aunt?
I don’t think my greatness is relative to my age
I see what you did there
Sooo cute!
Oh, what a total CUTIE!!! (Sorry, vocab flown out of the window in the face of such gorgeousness)
Hence the popularity of adults spouting baby talk…
This come under the 1st unimpeachable rule of the propagation of baby pictures. To wit: You never, ever (did I mention never and ever?) need an excuse to show a picture of any grand/great offspring. I only learned this after becoming a grandparent.
He’s a looker.
I’m glad to know that rule, and will invoke it when the time comes
Gorgeous!
Blog patrol, nude pictures on your blog!
A very cute little munchkin. Who needs an excuse, anyway?
“Haah… ok, just one last shot…”
Aww he’s so cute!
No excuses needed. Cute is cute, and you can’t have enough cute in this world.
Handsome little fellow
He is absolutely adorable!
Thank you
*heaves sigh of relief at not feeling broody as a result of seeing a cute baby pic*
awww…..what a little cutie cherub
Aw………
