Life is interfering with blogging at the moment, so I am behind replying to comments. Apologies, and I’ll try to stop doing stuff and revert to my usual blogdrone self as soon as possible.

I have started using Google Chrome as my browser and it is much better, but I have gone back to being unable to load videos. Sigh. Look, I’ll prove it:

O…ok…ay, that’s weird… It appeared in my first post preview but not my second. I’m going to schedule this post; let’s see if you can see it when it is published. If not, watch out for tomorrow’s post, when I share a photograph of my exploding head.

I have been enjoying Gabby’s You Tube video posts this week. Yesterday it was the Three Tenors in Paris. I noticed something – they all have folders with their words in front of them. I can’t see Madonna being allowed to get away with that. I guess that’s why she gets paid more.

I read a story about an accountant who put a railway in his backyard…wouldn’t you know it, he’s British? Clearly a case of a nerd wrapped in a geek inside a dweeb.
Incidentally, when I checked my thesaurus for synonyms of ‘nerd’, one of them was ‘Trekkie’.
Guilty as charged: we’re currently watching – re-watching, for the nth time – the whole series of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Or TNG, if you’re a fellow mega-nerd.
Right on Q, the space-time continuum has been discontinued, so I’m off.
Make it so.

Absolutely nothing wrong with building a railroad in your back yard!! What are you implying? I would do it if I could. Full scale would be even better.
Love Chrome. Much faster and safer than the others. Lots of great add-ons too.
I shall look into Chrome. I could see the video. “they all have folders with their words in front of them.” so would you if there were fifty-odd pages of words as in most oratorios. And you need to be able to read the music as well, which I bet M doesn’t/Madonna has about 10 lines at most to learn.
Chrome is good but don’t book a Ryanair flight via Chrome as there have been ‘issues’ (and nobody wants to spend hours on the phone to Ryanair) – just change if you’re booking flights – it may be fixed but better safe etc…
A fellow trekkie, I have watched every episode of TNG, as well as Deep Space nine and the one with Kate Mulgrew as Captain Janeway and the one with Scott Bakula. There have been so many. But Jean Luc Picard is my dreamboat of a captain, engage, make it so number one. Love him and love him with Q.
Men and their train sets!
You couldn’t make me watch Star Trek even if you tied me to the sofa.
Those guys are following the music scores, so they know exactly when to come in. They make it look easy.
Love the little train. It looks like the Chatanooga Choo-choo. Dianne
They have more words to remember!
Phil would love a railway in his back yard.
Live long and prosper.

I would like a railway line in my back garden merely because I am lazy and I would be able to sit having a glass of chardonnay while reading and perusing the garden simultaneously
Thanks for the linky Tilly (the members of the orchestra also use sheet music – obviously fraudsters).
“a nerd wrapped in a geek inside a dweeb” – sounds like a new (unappetising) type of pastry
