Happy Saturday!
Doctor Who is back.
I love Doctor Who.
He’s been gone too long.
I’ve been watching The Big Bang Theory. Although I don’t game like Leonard and Sheldon and Howard and Raj, like them, I do love Star Wars, Star Trek, science fiction in general and Doctor Who in particular.
It is possible I am a nerd. At the very least, a geek.
I don’t care. Doctor Who is back.

I can’t wait as well! The wait has been too long, and I do hope the BBC will do a full series soon instead of just 5 episodes, like this year.
I agree. It’s cruel to tease us like that.
My sister was big into the Doctor. I don’t recall ever seeing even one episode. I’ll hafta check it out. Meanwhile, Ill just hang with Sheldon & the boys. I’m pretty hot for Penny.
Like everyone
I have the TiVo set… Seeings how it airs during my teams first game of this years college football season. I have watched the marathon of the series in anticipation.
I am a Whovian!
Enjoy and please no spoilers.
Peach State
Never! I hate spoilers.
I have never seen Dr. Who. Nor am I into Star Trek, Star Wars or anything like them. I loved Space Balls (*lol*). I do, however, like X Files, Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, One Step Beyond…and I love Big Bang Theory, though am not a Gamer, either. I consider myself a Dork, and others have agreed. I’m okay with that.
I forgot about dorks! I know I’m not a dweeb, though.
No, you are so very not a dweeb!
I think hat’s the nicest thing anyone’s ever said to me
Hooray!
Never saw Dr Who, but I’m guessing I’d like it. It’s on Netflix streaming…… I’ll give it a go.
Love Sheldon and his friends.
Start with the series with Christopher Ecclestone as the Doctor.
Good to know! I just moved that series to my Netflix queue. 2005, it says. Thank you!
I know, I love Doctor Who! I started watching Doctor Who when I was little in France, they didn’t have it yet here in the States. I love Sheldon on the Big Bang Theory especially when he had his Mister Spock action figure speak to him, it was priceless. Leonard Nemoy is wonderful. Star Wars and Star Trek great cultural reference treasure troves.
Leonard is my favourite. I like short, clever blokes
I loved the old Doctor Who too! The one with the curly hair and the long woolen scarf. My co-workers don’t remember him. I’m getting old. Hmmm, or my memory is simply better
Have fun with the Doctor, Tilly.
Tom Baker! He came after ‘my’ Doctor, Jon Pertwee. TB was always a little too manic for my taste.
yeah for doctor Who!!!!
Good for you, T.Bud!
I will see if our Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) station will be carrying it. I hope so. Our favorite is Doc Martin.
..
I have tried to watch it, cuz my grandkids like it…but I just never can get into it! Guess that’s cuz I am an old granny…and a fuddy dud! Ha!
Happy Saturday!

We grew up with Dr Who, then he disappeared for many years, then he came back even better than before.
We like that, too
Thanks for the warning. I’m off to barricade myself behind the sofa because the Daleks are back. I’m scared of them even now.
Did you enjoy it?
Yes I did actually. I thought it a bit strange though. The lady in the Dalek. I was a little confused. That doesn’t take much to confuse me. Ha
Hi Tilly Bud, I’m a big fan of The big bang too, watch it almost every day. They all make me crack up , Sheldon and Penny are something else. Have not seen much of Doctor who, but will be looking for it on PBS.
If you like science fiction, you’ll love it.
Dr. Who is fabulous….the show has evolved from a goofy and cheesy-looking show to a just a wonderfully fun time – and I have loved every reincarnation of the Doctor…
It has been brilliant since the relaunch
The important part is that you are watching things you enjoy! If that comes with labels, who cares! I’ve been called much worse, and you probably have too!
)
You are right! On all counts
Thanks for reminding me. Totally focussed on Paralympics on our TV. I like a good sob!
They are such inspiring people.
Doctor Who is great, and I love the fact that my kids are as into it as I am. (Tinson1 had to wear a bow-tie to the Trinity Ball recently and was moaning, but Tingirl just kept saying “remember, bow-ties are cool”).
I hope they didn’t serve fish fingers and custard? So not cool.
I adore the Big Bang Theory…they repeat it every morning at five thirtyAM!!! I start my day with a smile!
Or finish the previous night…five-thirty!!
Don’t be silly Tilly…it is on the same time as sport!
Enjoy … put your feet up! Not my cup of tea .. but I know how popular it’s over there in UK. Is the same actors ???
For now. Amy & Rory are leaving
Okay …. only seen the program once – not my cup of tea – but it’s so popular over there.
How many doctors have there been now?
Now you’re asking…eleven. Only two left
Nice to know the Doctor is in!
Good one!
Hubby & I were also very pleased to realize Doctor Who was back! Only started watching a few years ago, but love it!!!
When is it on there?
I grew up with the program and was happy when my daughters re-introduced me to it… So I did spend some part of the summer watching last season’s episodes with them. The program is brilliant!
It promises to be brilliant again this season
Ah a Doctor Who fan eh!I always want to watch it but nobody else likes it in this house and to be honest, looks nervously around to see if anyone is listening,I just don’t even understand it :-/ Enjoy the new series!
You shouldn’t let them stop you
I’ve only recently found Dr. Who, and I really enjoy the series. There is a big following in the U.S., too! Glad you shared it with us!
Debra
When is it on? Saturday around seven, here in the UK. It used to be on around five when I was a child, but now it is more popular than it has ever been.
and scarier.
