[Poetry reading at Bramhall Hall]
Yesterday afternoon I was at a poetry reading by Suzanne Batty, in Stockport Central Library, which was followed by a workshop.
This morning I am at a different poetry workshop.
What a great week I’m having!
Details to follow.
I am never happier than when I’m writing or doing writing-related activities.
[Promoting my writing group]
This week’s response to the photo challenge is supposed to include a new gallery feature that WordPress have introduced – they are as happy with that as I am with my workshops – but I only have 11% space left and all of these pictures have been on my blog before, so I have copied and pasted these photos instead of uploading.
To compensate, and to keep to the spirit of the exercise – which I am happy to do – here is a photo of me, happy (ecstatic, actually) in a gallery:

You rock!
Hehehe. Enjoy the poetry and your weekend, Tilly.
That was a happy time, indeed.
That first picture warms my heart.
It’s one of my favourites
It’s certainly been a fabulous week for you! So many exciting things/times.
love the gallery picture – intriguing picture!
have a lovely weekend
I blogged about it at the time. The art gallery ran a poetry competition and then commissioned a conceptual artist to make art from the chosen poems. Great fun
No better company anywhere, eh?
You sure do look happy- and I love that poem art. Happy SWS
Thanks, and to you, too
A wonderful post. And very happy!
Have you been told lately that you have a fantastic smile? Well you do, it goes right to your eyes and you sparkle. I’m not worried about losing my malteser privileges because I eat ice cream, lol.
Subverting the rules – if I wasn’t so cross about the compliment [blush] I’d be complimenting you on your master criminality.
lol!!
So glad you are happy. Hope your week continues to be great.
Thank you, Judy.
Do you have a blog so I can return the visit?
In fact, I’m sure you do. I wonder why the link isn’t here?
That does sound like a great week! Lots of smiles in today’s post, Tilly. Hope they continue
Thanks, Kate
I want a week like that! I guess I will have to see what I can do with my three-day weekend My 6ws is here: http://mlissabeth.wordpress.com/2012/10/06/six-word-saturday106/
It will be what you make it, is my experience
So glad you’re happy! Love the t-shirt!

What a wonderful week! You made me happy by sharing it, thank you.
It makes me happy to hear that. Thank you!
I, too, am happiest when I am writing. Love your photos!
You look really happy on that photo,I’m glad you gave had a great week
Inspired, so I am. Must make some art.
love your photos!!!!!
That first picture sincerely put a smile on my face. It perfectly captures the moment when you lose control of all reason and begin laughing uncontrollably. I love it.
That happens a lot in this house
i enjoyed all the photos, but particularly liked the photo of you standing by the artwork of your poem! Very cool!
I wanna be you when I grow up…or would it be my second childhood…?
It’s simply a case of finding the mostly free fun in life
If you edit photos to a smaller pixel size, before uploading to your media pages you can have a huge number of photos without loosing too much quality. I usually upload photos 640 x 427 size, after saving and editing, as this is what my ‘microsoft office 2010′ offers as ‘large web’ size. Different editing option will offer you different sizes. (With all my photos I have used only 13% of my space.)
Or have you done that and still used up all your space?!
You lost me at ‘edit’, but I appreciate the info.
ask a teenager?
Happiness is a Malteser. Your smile is worth a trunk ful.
Thank you, Grannymar
Did you create the art with the poem? It is fabulous!
My original poem looked something like that and the artist went with the idea.
