I haven’t seen it yet, but Spud has. He is sixteen and unimpressable, so consider the value of this Six Word Saturday:

I am a little fat. I like food; what can I say? I have dull hair: mousey. I don’t wear much make-up and have no need of a dressing table. If I look like a bag lady, I chose my own clothes. If I look nice, the Hub picked them for me. Despite all this, I am a little vain. This photograph is from 2003. I had to go back that far to find one of me that I liked. But I don’t really care: my husband still thinks I’m beautiful and if he doesn’t, he loves me enough to lie about it. I’m lucky. I have two boys. They never lie to me. Still, you can't have everything.
I would love to hear from you!

Describe the perfect sandwich. Will Smith.Me.BradPitt. What? It could happen…
Today is National Poetry Day. I was going to bring you some fun and interesting facts about poetry, but you know what? There aren’t any. Not on the internet, anyway. Poetry is dull. By the way, remember to check out my poetry blog, I’m Not A Verse. * * * * * I did find […]
Viewfromtheside offered fascinating as the weekend theme. I thought you might like some fascinating facts. Can you guess which, if any, are true? You can’t fold paper more than seven times. You can, actually, if you are young and determined and rope in your family and a shopping mall. From Wikipedia: In January 2002, while a […]
With apologies to Paul, who might not find this blog to be quite what he was expecting. Take a look at this You Tube video. This – boy? young man? lad? What do I call him? He’s of a similar age to Tory Boy but obviously we are not on similar terms. I’ll call him ‘person’ […]
I have long been in search of the perfect handbag. It must be black; have a short and long handle, so that I can carry it down, under my arm, over my shoulder or over my chest; it must not be so big that I carry a load of junk around with me that I […]
Life is a story
SHOW ME THE WORLD!!
the life of animals
Let's Get Digital

I can’t wait….
That’s good to know – we’re hoping to go and see it this weekend.
Read similar reviews on FB so it must be true
Techie went last night but we haven’t had the report yet! I heard Dame Judy on the radio discussing her role a little. What a star she is.
I saw her live with her husband when I was a teenager. They were fabulous.
yes, I saw her in Stratford as Lady M in the 70s – amazing stage presence.

The famous one! I have it on DVD
What an idiot I am! Took me a few minutes to register – wow wow wow! You saw it live! Impressed and jealous in equal measures.
yes, but didn’t realise its significance at the time
Isn’t that always the way?
it was a school trip!
You were lucky to be close enough to go.
Indeed.
yes yes yes! we went last night – fab!
Excellent! Maybe I’ll go see it instead of waiting for it to come on TV.
ooh yes! it’s just not the same at home – popcorn, big screen, good sound and atmosphere – you must go!!
Not in Portugal as yet but wont be long before we have access to it. Hope everyone enjoys it
Good review – ha!
Hi Tilly Bud, I’m not much of a newer-Bond fan, but this guy is quite captivating. I think I’ll make an exception and see this one!
You know it makes sense
Bond? James Bond? (heh heh heh)
As long as Judi Dench is in it, I’m eager to see it!
Well, I’m with Spud… Yeah!
I’ve never watched a Bond movie yet, although I have seen snippets of them from time to time. I liked Sean Connery and think Daniel Craig is all wrong for the part. However, what do I know? Nothing it seems.
PS, I didn’t mention it to Gigi, but a friend of mine doing field work in India came back with Hep B or C. Of course this was a year or two ago. Time flies.
AS long as people are careful – and avoid the water – they should be okay.
It must be, even based on the trailer….which my dear Left Brained husband stood 4 inches from our big screen TV and watched with mouth agape. I may have even saw some drooling. I had to call his name at least 6 times to get his attention and let him know that the pot on the stove – upstairs from where he came dashing from when he heard that theme music – was boiling over.
I’m a good wife: I had the trailer all cued up on my lap top for him when he came back to the kitchen. He watched it again. 4 times. I watched the pot (on the stove, to clarify!)
Hehe. The things we do for our men
Good, I trust Spud.
can you believe it……….i am not a bond person……………..only in the looks department do i love to gawk at him. lol
sounds like something to look for when it gets to red box
WOW! that says a lot… but then the question is: How many bond movies has spud seen?
I thought it was all of them, but he tells me it’s some of the Pierce Brosnan and all of the Daniel Craig films…so, not a lot!
Is it possible for it to be THAT good, Tilly? Glad you’re “fit to trot” again.
I guess it is: I’ve read similar reviews all over today.
My 22 yr old grandson will enjoy it I’m sure!
Have been hearing that it is good!
Happy Saturday!
Oh wow, I could have gone either way but that could be enough to get me to go!
I think we love Bond … in whatever shape and form he comes … even a not so good Bond movie is still good. We take it for what it’s and we enjoy it for what it’s – but I take Spud’s word and I’m really looking forward to this one. Can’t wait to see it. Daniel is a good Bond too, the best maybe. Thanks for this one.
Yes, I’m rather partial to him, myself
I rather love him
Best review I’ve seen in a while…cuts right to the chase.
You know me – I’m all about the succinct
Great. I’ll book Phil and I tickets!
Tried to book tickets for today, today. Too late: sold out! Maybe later in the week?
Yes. When I watch it in six months’ time on telly, we’ll discuss it
deal
I was just on someone else’s 6WS that said they saw the movie. Worst yet, I didn’t even know there was a new one out. Glad to hear your son liked it! I’m sure it is a good one indeed!
betty
I didn’t know either, until he went to see it
That’s so good to hear! We are looking forward to it. It won’t premier in Los Angeles for a couple of weeks yet…but we are getting lots of buzz!
My husband gets like a little boy with the Bond movies!
I think they all do
