Lovely quotes, Tilly. A laugh before bedtime is just the ticket.
I really enjoyed these….started my year out perfectly.
Reagan and Bush. We have been so blessed in my country.
politics has become quite the circus, fun to watch and yet scared that they will fall
The the last two should be written in neon and placed over that plebgate at the House of Commons.
And the rest are so darned true it’s frightening.
Ah, George W Bush could always be relied upon to come up with a pearl of wisdom!
My favourite is the Nancy/Ronald Reagan one!
Never happier to see a president leave office than when we said goodbye to George W. Such wisdom … and he spouted it often.
Loved these.
I have always a view on politics – why bother with it … look at Italy – how many governments haven’t they had through the years about 200 … and nobody cares. Still Italian has a good lifestyle.
Good point.
