Tory Boy is a menace to his little brother. You saw his birthday card yesterday:

But he loves Spud very much. He arranged his leave so that he would be here for his brother’s birthday. He bought him an expensive PS3 game. And he baked him a cake. He baked it from scratch and iced it to look like one of Spud’s favourite games:
You don’t get much more loving than that.
And then he locked Spud in the loft.

Brothers, hey? Can’t live with ‘em
Can’t live with ‘em.
True and true.
Sweet!!!
boys will be boys – or maybe boys will be half devils.
A lavishly affectionate, yet pragmatic approach to brotherhood, Tilly
Happy Birthday to Spud!
They are lavish to each other, I am happy to say; when they are not being mercilessly tormenting.
Whatever made him do that?? Was the loft lock-up part of a game or inspired by the PS3?
Shakti
No; he just enjoys tormenting his brother and knows an opportunity when he sees one
What is it in each one of us that likes to torment those we love the most? What is the trigger ?
Shakti
Mischief?
The penmanship on the cake is quite remarkable. The devilish look Tory Boy has in the first picture plus the resigned expression on Spud’s face says it all. You have brought mini you and mini Hub into the world.
Frightful thought!
Awesome boys you have.
AH! Brotherly love!
Oh, how sweet is that! I love your children, Tilly.
Thank you, Gigi!
True brotherly love!
Doesn’t it feel wonderful to know that they truly care for each other? Mine are married adults, now, but when they travel across the country to visit and spend time with each other, it just warms my heart.
It really does. When we are gone, they will only have each other and we worked hard to ensure they know that.
What a bunch of characters you are. You must really be fun to be around!
From the bewildered look of visitors, I think we are
HAHA!! Didn’t see that coming!
what a beautiful family tilly …you have done well my girl very well!!!
what a wonderful way to show brotherly love….gave me a good laugh!
Heh he. As a youunger brother I can realte to that. The older brother giveth, and the older brother taketh away.
You got it!
Tell Spud black icing is always a clue.
Typical brothers! My two are still the same at the ages of 33 and 35! And woe betide anyone who hurts their sister who is the oldest at 37 – gotta love that!
Sweet!
Brotherly love is hard to beat. Tilly, you and hub are so fortunate.
We know it
Brotherly love. That gives me something to look forward to. Or not.
Based on the evidence so far, I think you’re safe.
Funny as always. I have to say that cake looks scary… What is it? Liquorice Cake?
