I can’t think of one thing to write about today, so here’s some cartoons.  Click on them to see the source.

Thanks for the cartoons they made me laugh until I realized I hadn’t prepared anything for tonight yet. ;-]

Maybe it’s because of a Malteser overdose!

Oh Tilly, I feel the anguish behind all these cartoons. Poor you. You must be thrilled with the new kitchen which will take your mind off the problem.

I’m in the same boat – I can’t remember my WordPress password, so can’t make any new posts, nor comment on any but wordpress posts from other people. Even if I asked for a new one, it would go to my home computer and I couldn’t get it!

Had a wonderful day yesterday – we had our eyes tested in the morning, by a rather gorgeous young man who kept asking me to look at this ear ‘ere (or this ‘ere ear) if you prefer. Found some affordable specs which could be ready before I go home. pm, Sally and I went to a mad folk music session in Hexham with some lovely people. I had Fraser’s keyboard and Sally plays concertina. For a first time on one of those electronic things I didn’t do too badly, though kept forgetting that each piece in the ‘set’ was played 3 times and with all the repeats! Somehow I managed to keep pace with the breakneck speed.
Went to sleep with the music swirling through my head.
    Love ViV on Sally’s computer.

Well it sounds like you’re having fun anyway. Did you know you can email your blog?

No. How? But that still won’t give me the password! From this computer it thinks I’m Sally.
Just been watching first Harry Potter film with Fraser, as it’s pouring outside. Fraser told me that the pictures weren’t as good as the ones in his head from the books (he has read them all, not bad for 8!)

Sorry, I was a bit vague there. Not now, but you can set up the facility for when you go away again.

I’m suitably impressed with Fraser but not surprised – they are unputdownable. I’m thinking of reading them all again myself. He’s right about the pictures; no book ever matches up to our imaginations. I can’t tell you how many Mrs Bennetts have let me down.

These cartoons are a real tonic, and had me Ling.O.L!

Your “Thomas Hardy” one reminds me of a cartoon showing Charles Dickens sitting up in bed, sucking his pencil and staring at the ceiling with his “thought balloon” saying
David . . . Butterscotch? Buttercup? Coppercup? Got It! Copperbottom!”

I have definitely had this happen to me and can relate to every one of those cartoons. Then there are days when I’ll have 3 or 4 things I want to write about.

Me too. I had one just like that on Friday. I should have saved them up.

I welcome your comments but be warned: I'm menopausal and as likely to snarl as smile. Wine or Maltesers are an acceptable bribe; or a compliment about my youthful looks and cheery disposition will do in a pinch.
