Writer’s Island: Wondrous Senryu

13 Dec

Something sentimental for Writer’s Island.  Don’t expect me to make a habit of it, though:

         ‘Tis Wondrous

                  a loving husband
                         our two beautiful children
                              their hugs and kisses

TBH, it’s just not my style. I usually show my family how much I love them by laughing at them. Still, it doesn’t hurt occasionally, as long as they don’t start expecting it.

Great Senryu, short and sweet. And the family sure looks caring and loving. Happy holidays and Merry Christmas to everyone in the family.

I welcome your comments but be warned: I'm menopausal and as likely to snarl as smile. Wine or Maltesers are an acceptable bribe; or a compliment about my youthful looks and cheery disposition will do in a pinch.
