Suggestion Box

19 Jan

My friend Flo, doing her usual complaining about me, has suggested that she suggest suggestions for my blog posts, on the grounds that I’m a misery guts this week.

I think her suggestion is a good suggestion and I respectfully suggest that she forward her suggestions without hesitation.

Further to her suggestion, I suggest any other of my readers who have a topic they’d like me to blog about should drop it in the suggestion box at the end of this post (hereinafter referred to as ‘comments’).

So, any suggestions?

Hee hee.  WordPress beat you to it, Flo: I clicked ‘publish’ and a box came up saying, ‘The proofreader has suggestions for this post.’  Mostly along the lines of, ‘Learn to spell, doofus.’

The proofreader also asked me to tell you, you are spelling your name wrong; it should be ‘Flow.’

That’s cute! I never seem to run out of ideas for my own blog topics. Sometimes, I even post 2 blog entries in 1 day!

I have a suggestion. You might want to look up and use all of the synonyms for the word “suggestions,” it could prove to be interesting. However, I do love your blog today, it reminds me of someone I know who is always looking for suggestions, lol. And come to think of it, I give her the same advice.

Jeez, An un-stoppable force of mature? Suggestion…a costume. Think impenetrable apron, deadly whisk, telepathic scarf. Think intergalactic micro-oven. Think big.

Did you watch Toast at Christmas? It was a drama based on Nigel Slater’s book of the same name, and how food related to parts of his life. Fantastic read and a super film. So, as you are a great cook ( lol), how about a meal you made or ate, and the memories it always conjures up.
(Glad your very little boy is on the mend, just don’t over feed him while he’s getting better).

I welcome your comments but be warned: I'm menopausal and as likely to snarl as smile. Wine or Maltesers are an acceptable bribe; or a compliment about my youthful looks and cheery disposition will do in a pinch.
