    Who is Freda?

    • Tilly Bud April 13, 2011 at 10:58 #

The Freda on my blog is my aunty who is not my aunty but my Mum’s oldest friend and I always call her aunty. She sends me funnies that I sometimes share.

I don’t know the Freda they’re looking for but it’s not the first time they’ve been in here asking for her.

Seriously weird. Polyfolia choirs is a classical choral music festivel and a town near here. Last year we won tickets to a concert given by an Armenian choir, and it was superb. Massive Legs Woman could have been me, but wasn’t (see my Napo poem tomorrow). A laughing washing machine is something that you might appreciate. As for the rest, I haven’t a clue.

    • Tilly Bud April 13, 2011 at 10:59 #

Thank you re the choir! I wondered if it was a real thing but I couldn’t find anything on Google.

Grr. I wish there was an edit button on comments: festival AT a town near here.

    As Vivin notes ‘Seriously weird’!

  7. The Simple Life of a Country Man's Wife April 12, 2011 at 18:05 #

Yikes! That last one is scary :S My fav is the housewife forced to do sit-ups! I wrote a post about this a while back ( and since then have turned off my search engine traffic. Now people find me searching “normal” terms, and I don’t have creepy creepsters checking out my stuff … blog.

    Fun post!

    • Tilly Bud April 13, 2011 at 11:01 #

The weird searches are one of my favourite things to blog about. I could never turn it off 🙂

Tilly, I am so jealous! Mine are all rather boring, and not nearly so many – I only average about 3 or 4 a day! Thanks for the laugh!

  9. earlybird April 12, 2011 at 18:24 #

Oh my goodness! No one searches for me (or at least they only look for pea purée). I can answer this one though: ‘please give me a full pic.of somebodys legs’ – they were after that picture of the (headless) Hub on his 21st birthday.

Some of these are indeed seriously scarey.

    • Tilly Bud April 13, 2011 at 11:02 #

      pea purée? I feel ill.

Nice joke on the Hub, by the way 🙂

  10. kateshrewsday April 12, 2011 at 18:32 #

(Although that last one is plain creepy)

  11. Patti April 12, 2011 at 18:59 #

Those are crazy…makes me think the whole search-engine system is breaking down somewhere along the line and/or that there are too many people with time on their hands that go searching for whatever pops into their odd heads.

  12. nrhatch April 13, 2011 at 02:09 #

kill husband cartoon ~ maybe this has to do with that cartoonish lamp your husband arrived home with? 😀

    • Tilly Bud April 13, 2011 at 11:02 #

And another hit on the Hub!

      Keep ’em comin’ folks 🙂

  13. Sharp Little Pencil April 13, 2011 at 04:31 #

Linda, these (especially your snarky comments) are fantastic! I don’t have nearly the amount of pathetic traffic you do, but maybe that’s just as well. I’d get agitated! You handle all of it with humor and bite.

  14. kiwidutch April 13, 2011 at 04:52 #

Yep, some of the search terms are seriously strange… BUT some of the miss-spellings make for hilarious reading too!

  15. Slowvelder April 13, 2011 at 07:31 #

My word – you do get some crazy search terms – mine are just so mild

  16. ladynimue April 14, 2011 at 15:49 #

    Nice blog !
    thanks for the smiles 🙂
