Dance Like You’re Bonkers

I watched the Eurovision Song Contest last night.  This is my favourite entry, not least because I was looking for something to write about for Sidey’s theme, dance. 

A girl in a cone hat and fairy costume, pretending to blow a horn while riding a unicycle, is my idea of dancing.  I feel so lucky to have witnessed it.  Utterly barmy.  I may have to move to Moldova.

    I watched bits of it and wondered where the music was, amid all the glitz and over-produced swirling lighting effects. At least we didn’t come last again.

    I saw them on Thursday and couldn’t believe they made the final, then couldn’t believe how well they did last night.

    Ireland gave them eight points, tells you everything you need to know about us.

    Guess what! Moldova is a country – really! Our youngest son, Matt’s, best friend Jason, was a Peace Corps volunteer there for over two years, and loved it!
