The sun – I’ve heard of it.

*

Here in Stockport we hardly ever see the sun.  Clouds nestle on the Pennines and seep into the sky all around like a bad smell in a lift.

We’re almost at the end of May and there’s no sign of sunshine.  I never thought I’d miss a drought, but I do: at least droughts are cheerful.

We have no drought here. It rains at least once a week. But, the sun is out most days. Naturally! It’s Hawaii!!!

I love living in the Sunshine State. It rains, and then the sun returns.

    Hope your sun appears soon.

We were promised a two-week heatwave. That was last Wednesday…

Yeah it seems like our town has won the early November for a year contest as well. Two days of nice weather in a row would be appreciated yet also be very surprising.

It’s sad, isn’t it? Speaking of which, we’ll all be coming down with it (SAD) if the sun doesn’t get its act together soon.

St. Louis has had about two days of sun in the last three weeks. The thunderstorms aren’t so bad, but I’m really getting tired of the flooding and constant tornado warnings.

Welcome to your first 6WS – it’s addictive. As far as sun, it’s been sadly lacking in my neck of the woods which is very unusual. There’s something about sunny days which make everything seem brighter and happier.

Hope you see some sun soon 🙂

I thought I loved the cold until I moved back here from South Africa. I know now it’s sunshine, but it’s too late 😦
