11 Aug

I noticed as I wrote the date that I was saying (in my head; I’m not crazy), ‘One, one, eight, one, one…’  I immediately thought of the most annoying advert in the world; so today’s date post is more of a hate post.  Or, one, one eight, one, one hate.

I love the oddities in numbers…digital numbers are making life more fun…this one would have been a goody anytime…
Wish I’d thought of it first !

    A cautionary tale!

WordPress and You Tube no longer seem compatible. Here’s the advert that should have appeared in my post:

I loved that. But then I’m an American.

      I accept your apology.

      😀 😀

I was so interested that I watched a whole bunch of British commercials. Wow. They are as bad as ours, but in a different way.

They are! But we have good adverts, too. Traditionally, our beer adverts are clever and/or hilarious.

Actually, the funniest thing (for me, anyway) to come out of the BBC since the Pythons is “Little Britain.” “It’s hard being the only gay in the villlll-aje!” And Vicky and her sextuplets, all of it, Andy and his poor friend, THE PRIME MINISTER’S SECRETARY. Oh, I could go on all night.

This was inspired, Linda. And yes, I’m having WordPress/YouTube issues as well as posting images in general. Crud. Anyway, thanks for the laugh! Those two guys look like something out of Spinal Tap! Amy

I can’t watch LB; it’s far too gross for me 🙂 I’ve seen bits of it so I get most of your references. Funny to think that Americans can enjoy Brit products that some Brits dislike. What don’t you like in American tv that I love?

I welcome your comments but be warned: I'm menopausal and as likely to snarl as smile. Wine or Maltesers are an acceptable bribe; or a compliment about my youthful looks and cheery disposition will do in a pinch.
