List the 5 most important books you’ve ever read.
Matthew, Mark, Luke, John & When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit.
The first four taught me about love and the last one about the effects of hate.
What does love mean to you?
Never having to share my Maltesers. If they love me, they’ll leave me to feast alone.
What’s one “luxury” you refuse to live without?
Earl Grey teabags. No joke. I never joke about tea.
If you could spend a day doing anything you wanted, what would you do?
Blogging, of course. Whilst eating Maltesers and drinking Earl Grey tea.
Who was the first person who believed in you?
My Dad. When I was put in his arms he said to my Mum, ‘Doesn’t she look intelligent?’
You can fool some of the people all of the time…
Explain the name of your blog and why you chose it.
I’m a housewife. I laugh (you know what they say will happen if you don’t laugh).
I hope you laugh, too. It doesn’t have to be at me.

I just read this and I have to share it; it is originally from Twitter, but I read it on Manchester Meanders:
Twitter: @Harrietgregory: Quote from Waterstone’s employee on the news: “We’ll stay open, if they steal some books they might learn something” #londonriots

So you do ‘t love me, then. No joint Malteser fest? But you can have all the Earl Grey tea – to me it’s like drinking bathwater perfumed with bath salts!
Some cracking Twitter comments on that link you posted. It was great to be able to laugh in the face of such a disaster as UK is fast becoming.

Watching the news about the looting in London, made me wounder what was up here on The Laughing Housewife. You remind me that love is the foundation of a good life, and a peaceful world. Love. My husband’s all-time favorite tea is Twinings Earl Grey. He starts each day with it. Me….a coffee hound. Thank you for taking me from thoughts of violence to love and tea.
I haven’t stopped here in awhile, and I am loving your header.

It has been a while, then! You’ve missed me decorating a bedroom, me playing on the swings, me not doing much else at all.
Always glad to see you 🙂

Sad what is going on in England these days. Who would have predicted these riots would happen there of all places. I hope your town is spared. Best wishes to you and your family, Tilly.

Thank you Gigi; we are all fine. We are close to Manchester but it didn’t spread to here.
I remember it happening in the early Eighties. These things happen.

Take down this number (767) 555-7298. It’s the number of MA. They can put you in touch with a 12-step chapter in Manchester. Good luck.

Wash your mouth out with soap! I don’t have an addiction. I absolutely do not have an addiction. Excuse me, I have to eat my Maltesers now.

The maltesers and blogging sound great, but earl grey is too classy for me. And I don’t like it 😕 Always think it had a hint of washing up liquid in its bouquet and aftertaste.
