I have a theory that everyone who watches Friends chooses the one they think they are most like as their favourite.
I never said it was a good theory. Or that I could write a coherent sentence.
Which one are you?

I am a little fat. I like food; what can I say? I have dull hair: mousey. I don’t wear much make-up and have no need of a dressing table. If I look like a bag lady, I chose my own clothes. If I look nice, the Hub picked them for me. Despite all this, I am a little vain. This photograph is from 2003. I had to go back that far to find one of me that I liked. But I don’t really care: my husband still thinks I’m beautiful and if he doesn’t, he loves me enough to lie about it. I’m lucky. I have two boys. They never lie to me. Still, you can't have everything.
I would love to hear from you!

I used to like Friends a lot and Rachel was my favourite character throughout it all but I associate myself mostly with Pheobe – who annoys me terribly in Friends.

I love them all.

I may have messed it up and voted twice 😉

OK, so I voted Phoebe. But my husband liked her the least and would freak out if he knew I picked her!!
And which one are you?

Chandler, of course!

I think you’re right. Most people identify with one of the characters and that makes everyone like the show better.

I look like Rachel, go with the flow like Phoebe, and fix delicious meals like Monica.
I have ALL of their good attributes . . . and NONE of their weakness. 😉

You must be a perfect friend, then 🙂

Friends… the best TV there was 😛

Phoebe was always my favorite character but I’m a lot like Monica, controlling borderline OCD. I’m not loud like her though, except when I yell at my kids…

That was great. Just like those Jackie questionnaires all those years ago…

I voted for myself as Chandler, since I do know he’s the one I’m most like, but the problem is that he always really got on my nerves…

I adore Chandler.

I liked Chandler – I can relate using humor as a defense mechanism.

I’m Chandler, too.

Apart from watching 15 minutes of an episode on an airoplane where the sound kept going out because the headphones were faulty, (and I gave up trying to watch anything at all) I have to confess that I’ve never seen Friends.
I’ve also never seen a whole host of other mega popular programmes but have at least heard of the titles.
(sigh) does that mean I have a life, or I need a life LOL?

😀 You should give it a go. I wasn’t a fan first time around. Now I’ve seen them all at least four times 🙂

I’m more of a weird, self-assured first child who uses humor as a defense mechanism.

I didn’t vote because, frankly, I see a little of each one’s character flaws in myself. What a funny show with snappy dialogue. Hard to believe 6 people could have such chemistry together.
By the way, who is worse, the one who writes an incoherent sentence or the one who understands it?

I’ll have to think about that one…

I never really got into “Friends” but my boss IS Monica. And probably I’m Phoebe. But I’d like to be Rachel.
So maybe I caught a few.
There were enough episodes that’s for sure.

About 26 per series; 10 series. Which I’ve watched at least three times. 🙂

Confession time… I don’t watch Friends, and I might be one of a handful of people on the planet who have not seen a single episode of the show. I know what it is and who the characters are and all that, I just never watched it. 🙂
