I Willingly Dedicate This Post To A Stranger

10 Sep

I read the funniest story today.

I try to publicise other blogs as much as possible, so long as the mentions fit the context of my post; but this is a first for me: dedicating a post to a blog I’ve read just once.  I usually read several posts, at least; get to know the blogger.  I believe in free speech but not free advertising from me for someone I wouldn’t read myself.

This particular blogger left a comment here and I did the usual polite thing of going over to say ‘hi’, and I read the most charming, amusing story about her great-grandson.  I urge you to go and read it for yourself.

If you’re still not sure, I believe her post’s title may convince you:

My Poo Poo Is Sleeping.

You can see why it appealed to me, can’t you?

Read other Six Word Saturdays here.

That title is 8 words – but who’s quibbling? I’m off to visit your recommended blog.

How funny: and what common sense. It stands to reason poo poo might not be an early riser.

Kids say the darndest things and some housewives too. I hope you caught Sarosm’s blog yesterday. I know you did(Comment advertising). She reminds me why I am happy my little children have grown up to have little children of their own. My Mom always said, “I hope when you grow up, you get a kid just like you!!” I never knew what she meant until I had children, and my oldest son came along. Mercifully, the others were not like me. My daughter had a child like me and she has red hair. She had a pet lizard she fed cockroaches and once put glue in a water fountain at school. But my hair is NOT red so she can’t possibly be like me. Dianne

Hi Tilly you are the most wonderful person in the world. I am so honored to have you post this on your blog site. I am at a loss of words on this one. I love to join now the link sites and read all the wonderful blogs out there. Your blog site I loved so much and booked marked it so I can come back again and again.

What is amazing is this little boy is now 8 years old and he loves to write. On my blog site I have a special section set up for him and his sister to share on. I enter all their work under children poetry and allow them to write on here. I think it makes the site so much fun. He has written some amazing stories that I have posted on this blog. I am so happy that you have found this site so enjoyable and you liked this story so much. I look forward to reading more of your blog in the days and weeks to cme.

Kids and their poop comments are just hilarious! My youngest often waves his poop goodbye as he flushes the toilet. His goodbye speech? Bye bye poopie, have fun with the fishes in the ocean!

    That picture is priceless. 🙂

I welcome your comments but be warned: I'm menopausal and as likely to snarl as smile. Wine or Maltesers are an acceptable bribe; or a compliment about my youthful looks and cheery disposition will do in a pinch.
