I love this picture. Thanks for putting it up. It’s one of the most uplifting tributes to the human spirit of endurance and perseverance I’ve ever seen.

I don’t think any of us will ever forget what we were doing at that moment on 9-11. I have seen pics of the new memorial, which is simply breathtaking.

May God bless all who were affected by that tragedy!

Hey, I came here for a laugh and I found 9-11 again. Sorry to sound so cavalier, but I live 6 blocks from the Pentagon, and spent many hours, in the TT and the Marriott at the base. My company had two floors on in one of the towers, and our headquaters was at 185 Broadway, which backs up to the site. One of my friends was in the Marriott for a meeting that morning. He narrowly escaped. Two other co-workers were killed at Shanksville. I just want to forget the whole thing.

I can understand that. I’m not one to dwell on the past, but I do feel it’s important to acknowledge it. Many brave and many innocent people died that day; I want to take time to remember them.

    That’s 195 Broadway, the old AT&T headquarters.

Laser lights, defiantly pointing to the stars, heavenward, this image always gives me cold shivers … Blessings to all – molly

Thanks for your “moment of silence.” There’s nothing all that funny about today. God bless you.

I welcome your comments but be warned: I'm menopausal and as likely to snarl as smile. Wine or Maltesers are an acceptable bribe; or a compliment about my youthful looks and cheery disposition will do in a pinch.
