Joke 255

4 Dec

There was once a great czar in Russia named Rudolf the Red.  One day he was looking out of the windows of his palace while his wife, the Czarina Katerina, sat nearby, knitting.

The Czar turned to her and said, “Look my dear, it has begun to rain!”

Without even looking up from her knitting the Czarina replied, “It is too cold to rain. It must be sleeting.”

The Czar shook his head and said, “I am the Czar of all the Russias, and Rudolf the Red knows rain, dear!”

Thanks to Dianne at Schmidleysscribbling and her friend Sandy for today’s cartoon which is not a cartoon but is very funny:

This was great, I needed a good bellylaugh, and I knew I could count on you. The “Ditto” pic is priceless, too. I showed my husband and he fell out laughing.

Thank you for turning my on to Alien Hippy’s blog (found your comment on Raven’s Wing). I left a comment there. Riley has Asperger’s and was misdiagnosed as manic depressive (my condition) for years. She’s really getting it together now, and I’m going to turn her on to Hippy’s blog. The sewing machine tale was great.

Thanks again for the exercise for my upper abdomen! Better than crunches, ha ha. Amy

Rudolph was predictable, but that photograph was hilarious, even more so as my roars of laughter brought Jock in to look, but he didn’t get it!

I welcome your comments but be warned: I'm menopausal and as likely to snarl as smile. Wine or Maltesers are an acceptable bribe; or a compliment about my youthful looks and cheery disposition will do in a pinch.
