If you are new here, from time to time I share some of the searches people type in that lead them to my blog.

I have decided to do the search posts monthly, so they will be shorter.  I hope regular readers don’t mind?  I know the irregular readers won’t.

The Weirdest Search Of All

Over six HUNDRED people came to my blog during February, in search of the letter a.

Compare that to the number of people – 11 – who found my blog by Googling The Laughing Housewife; or, on no less than four occasions, The Laughibg Housewife; and even one hose wife.

Those odd ball searches remain a mystery to me… but like I said last time, I’m glad they show up too! 😉

They can be a laugh. Mine are mostly incredibly serious, because naturally so am I 🙂 I mean 😐

I would have been attracted by ‘over 600 readers readers to my blog in February’!!!! That in itself clearly marks it out as a gem! Or even the ‘laughing’ bit of ‘housewife’. Definitely shouts of happy escape!

I’d like to meet president donkey, some these are so funny and the cartoon’s last line was clever, the internet has too much space.

All this proves someone has 1/ too much time on their hands; 2/ is looking for perverts; 3/ uses drugs Dianne

PS I want to meet the hose wife.

      1) I do
      2) I am
      3) No need; the blogosphere is so surreal, it tops whatever drugs can do, I imagine.
      4) Change 2) to I am not. I thought you said ‘perverse’, as in, ‘weird stuff that will make people laugh’.

I love it. I told my husband a couple weeks ago I wanted to keep track of some of the search terms people use that end up on my blog. But don’t have that many that are interesting. And I love how you sorted them out.

Someone typed in: “I have Aspergers and I don’t know what to write in a birthday card” to find my blog. I had to laugh, as I don’t know either. LOL

I’m laughing too: I don’t have Aspergers and I have the same problem 🙂 I don’t think it’s a symptom of any particular condition.

I gave up those searches a few years ago. The spam folder is entertainment enough, and no, I do not open any of those.

I’m curious, Tilly, as to why one person would need to search for the letter a, let alone 600. What would they be looking for? 101 different uses for a a? Designer as? The history of a? The mind boggles. Perhaps they were looking for numbers that have an a in them when spelled out, but couldn’t think of how to phrase their search term… I’m off to look at my search terms now! 😀

Just weird. The only time I’ve had comparable searches are for the Google Doodle Snowflake, of course; smiles; and the world seems to think I know what really happened to Colonel Ghaddafi.

Thank you! I’d have accepted, but you are the third person today, so that’s 33 questions! Not even my tolerant readers would hang around for that.

Maybe I’ll cherry pick a couple of questions from each of you.
