I welcome your comments but be warned: I'm menopausal and as likely to snarl as smile. Wine or Maltesers are an acceptable bribe; or a compliment about my youthful looks and cheery disposition will do in a pinch.
This Is Me:
I am a little fat. I like food; what can I say? I have dull hair: mousey. I don’t wear much make-up and have no need of a dressing table. If I look like a bag lady, I chose my own clothes. If I look nice, the Hub picked them for me. Despite all this, I am a little vain. This photograph is from 2003. I had to go back that far to find one of me that I liked. But I don’t really care: my husband still thinks I’m beautiful and if he doesn’t, he loves me enough to lie about it. I’m lucky. I have two boys. They never lie to me. Still, you can't have everything.
I have the funniest readers in the blogosphere (not necessarily ha ha…)

You opened up a new prompt idea for me…the day the puppy shredded a whole box of clean and new sanitary pads when I put him in the bathroom in Japan when we were going to be gone for several hours…there was a drain in the floor, so I thought if he had an “accident” I could wash the rice mat floor covering in the living room.
Great photos…puppies are so helpful sometimes ☺.
The make-up was so well done…looks real !

I was so worried about you when I was looking at the photos… not the laughing Tilly I have grown to love… so glad it is makeup…
I am surprised it was not your doggy(and glad it isn’t) battered and bruised after the shredding incident..

I thought the makeup was cool. I could tell by your words on the photos that it was makeup. Sorry people reacted. We each have triggers about certain things. I can see why it might bother some. I never would have thought twice about it. ~ Sam
