Borrowed it.  Devoured it.

Loved it.

Must access the sequels at once.

So glad I’ve got a Kindle!

I’m unavailable for the next week.

my neurotic desire for symmetry wants you to expand this by 2 sixes (ie 6×6).

      I tried; I really did. Couldn’t.

Hope this helps you a little.

Now that you have recommended it, I must read it! Until the film came out I hadn’t even heard of it.

    • Tilly Bud April 21, 2012 at 12:06 #

Me either! But I’m so glad I finally did.

I keep hearing about this but have no idea what it’s about which probably makes me a decade behind the times?

I loved the movie and the whole dystopian message. I found that in terms of the young adult phenoma that the world saw with Twilight and the Bella/Edward?Jacob saga. I found that Katniss and her own choice between the two young men to be a better role model. I found myself getting really angry with the message that Stephanie Meyers was sending to young girls, Bella without Edward wasn’t able to live and she would hurt herself just to feel close to him. Bad message. I definitely in the movie applauded Katniss and her grit and determination. I’m glad that you liked it.

    • Tilly Bud April 21, 2012 at 12:08 #

Yes, she didn’t really want to choose either boy, which is what I liked best of all.

This is an absolutely ingenious approach to a book review! Love it! This book is also on my “to-be-read” list and hopefully someday I’ll get to it. Do you write all your reviews in this fashion? I’m off to find out…

    Happy 6WS! 🙂

    • Tilly Bud April 21, 2012 at 12:09 #

I don’t write many reviews, actually, because I’m usually so late coming to them.

You might want to check out my Twilight reviews, however. I have quite a bit to say about hair.

I so know what you mean! It’s kine of like the Harry Potter craving again!

    • Tilly Bud April 21, 2012 at 12:11 #

It is! At least all three books were already out by the time I discovered them.

GREAT series! My 11 year old is now reading them. She is “dying” for us to take her to see the movie.

  15. bluebee April 14, 2012 at 23:41 #

These are my kind of reviews – more please (a TLH review page, perhaps? I think you could be a trendsetter)

  16. Tinman April 15, 2012 at 10:35 #

Glad you’re reading it, I’m halfway through the third book now, and already feeling desolate about the fact that i’m nearly finished the series.

Will get and read on my upcoming trip. Also very glad for my Kindle.

  19. introvertedblogger April 18, 2012 at 13:27 #

I devoured it in one day. I need to read the next

    • Tilly Bud April 18, 2012 at 13:34 #

You do! I read all three books in four days. Going to see the movie tonight 🙂

      • introvertedblogger April 18, 2012 at 13:50 #

Brilliant. I will get onto that. I only read it a few days ago.

  20. eof737 April 18, 2012 at 18:21 #

    And the movie? 😉

I welcome your comments but be warned: I'm menopausal and as likely to snarl as smile. Wine or Maltesers are an acceptable bribe; or a compliment about my youthful looks and cheery disposition will do in a pinch.
