Posting for Six Word Saturday…maybe*
If I am lucky enough to access your blog, the ‘Like’ button works but when I write a comment, all I get is the ‘Posting Comment’ box, forever, but it never does actually post the comment. On some blogs, comments on one post work but not on another. A new glitch this morning was the absence of photos.
If I go bald, it was WordPress inflicted.

I’m off to take my rage out on the garden. It’s a mess, too, but at least I can fix that.
*It depends on whether I can access the 6WS blog; and if I do, whether it will let me link; and if it does and you aren’t having the same problem, I will reply if I can but it depends on whether I get white screen; and if I don’t and I can access your blog, it depends on whether it will let me comment. Some comment boxes on some blogs are cut off or do strange things when you try to post. “Don’t do damage in the garden” is what my mom always tells me when I take my pruning shears and head for the therapy/blowing off steam bushes.

There is nothing more frustrating as when computer, laptop, internet or provider are not working as they should. It’s really driving me mad at times. Had a bug in mine – … Ad-ware found it and removed it, since then it has been working fine.

I used for over 10 years – FREE and you do nothing more then download … analyze and clean, can’t do anything wrong and it will clean out your computer or laptop of all the shit that shouldn’t be there. Don’t change anything and it will speed up your computer too. Every time you go on internet it saves on to your computer and you have to clean once a week. Brilliant program.

Poor Tilly. Not having the same problems as you. For a while the comment boxes kept jiggling about, and I couldn’t ‘like’ wordpress blogs, but things have eased lately. Perhaps they’re working on it. Oh NO, this one’s jiggling about again now. Do you have a tame WP support person alias Happy Engineer? I got the white screen on preview last night, when I had uploaded 36 pix, but it worked the second time I tried. I’ll put your link on 6-w-Sat for you (it’s not long been up)

I have also had a lot of problems and have done a post to WordPress threatening to change to blogger..whatever is happening? It never used to be like this until they went to a meeting a few months ago..then it all started going to pot.
I am sorry that you are having troubles,, but we still love you at least i do!

WordPress seems ok for me at the moment, but I have noticed an advert at the bottom of your post (and someone else’s I looked at yesterday) which is not normally there. What are WP playing at?

I’m so sorry about your computer woes, I’m having the occasional issue myself, I miss your comments dear Tilly and I hope that your gardening goes well. Go gently on the pruning, it does grow back but it can take a while.

Mine would’ve gone through the window by now (I’d open it first- keep costs down!)
My posting comments is pretty slow sometimes and I lose patience and go off and comment somewhere else. Then when I come back it’s sometimes there, sometimes not.

I have no clue what to recommend because my WordPress is on it’s best behaviour and functioning perfectly (even when I’m not LOL).
Maybe delete all your cookies, clear the cache and start again?… maybe that will clean out the glitch? … contact the WP forum and ask someone with more technical knowledge than me (Ok that’s *anyone* btw)
I’m the one who sat for almost an hour this morning trying to make a new YouTube channel for Little Mr … and failed miserably because it asks for a name at the top of the start up page and no matter what I put in it doesn’t accept it.
I closed the computer and walked away for the rest of the day, it was so frustrating.
I hope your WorlPress feels better soon.

I have the solution for you Tilly! I had the same problem and I help Tess over at Let’s Cut the Crap solve her issue too.
Go to the Askimet site here:http://akismet.com/contact/
Type in the question box something like “trouble making comments” and a short form pops up for you to fill out and submit explaining the problem.
It took a day or so, but someone named Mark helped both me and Tess. Good luck and I hope you can keep your hair in tact. Mine has started growing back. Barely.

Have you tried clearing your internet history and doing a disk cleanup on your computer? Perhaps it’s something to do with a full cache memory.

Things seem to be working better this evening, T.B. Please don’t tear your hair out! 🙂 I have problems with leaving the Blogger comments in that It will double post with only one click. For the sake of the blogger, I delete the extra myself.

I am not sure what it is, but it seems Word Press & Google have had issues.
I won’t even go into the cell phone updates. The more technical we get the more issues we create. So much for making life easier & more simple.
