As chance would have it, it’s my 27th wedding anniversary today (it’s the Hub’s as well, but don’t remind him; he’s miserable enough). To celebrate, here are some photos. They are not very good because the photographer was really bad and the Hub winces when he looks at them.
At least, I think that’s why he winces…

Congratulations on your anniversary ! You both looked so young. I can remember when I was younger thinking how mature we “looked. Just the other day I looked at some of the same photos “my goodness, we look just like babies”☺.

Actually, I lost the first ones somewhere; the second were just snapshots, and I think my ex kept those; and the third was also snapshots, but that one was rage afterwards. I always had hope to start with! 😎

17 years for Himself and I at the end of July… sorry no photos to post, I’m keeping to my privacy policy on the Web…
We did accidentily hold up a tram and a tour bus as we blocked the road outside Den Haag’s (the Hague’s old gemente huis= city hall) ..all our guests stood on the tram lines throwing confetti and unusually the tram driver decided to wait rather than lean on the horn or inch forward threatening to run them over…
(all marriages have to be in the City Hall first for you to be legally married… if you want to do the church ceremony afterwards you can but it’s not the church ceremony that makes your marriage legally binding)…
… the bus load of Japanese tourists took advantage of the hold up on the road to all get out their cameras and start acting like the paparazzi, so somewhere in a ton of Japanese photo albums are probably more wedding photos of Himself and I than we actually have ourselves LOL.

Congratulations on your wedding anniversary!! You 27 years and me coming up on 22 years. Doesn’t the time just fly by? Your wedding photos are beautiful, everyone looks do happy! That’s what makes weddings so wonderful, the overall happiness and the promise of everlasting love. I would have to scan my photos, mine are in black and white and also in sepia. One of these days.
