The Morning After

18 Jul

I had a lovely visit yesterday from an old friend.  All we did was laugh and chat.  This was us yesterday:

This is me today:

A face only a Hub could love

I had intended to tell you all about it, but my knac has never felt so kered, so it will have to wait until tomorrow.  It won’t be exciting: all we did was laugh and chat.  I don’t know why I’m so tired this morning; all I drank was tea.

For a knac to be kered it must have been amazing tea!

Hi, Tilly B . I look forward to hearing about your visit. That kind of contact is so important. Take your time — I know exactly what you mean about being tired — I barely slept, and tossed and turned all night! So no hurry, at least not from me!

I’m sort of new here, and didn’t know you had a yorkie. Now …. with your humor AND a yorkie, well, you’re my hero!

I’m sure some tea would help. And maybe some more laughter. Hair of the dog.

Laughing is such good exercise for your stomach muscles, and maybe your jaw is all worn out from the chin-wagging. 😉 Hope your knac is better tomorrow.

At least you had a good time with a wonderful friend before looking so haggard…I just went to work, came home, went to bed, and got up the next morning…and I had a similar expression this morning! 🙂 Debra

My friend is coming on Monday and staying 4 days. Perhaps I should do before and after pictures too. We laugh and chat and drink and eat the whole time we are together!

Laughing takes energy so you must have just burnt more energy than just tea could replace… sleep on that fact and it will all come good!

I’ve often wondered why having fun can be more exhausting than working.
