I received my copy of Flavoured as Much as Coloured:
Published by Clitheroe Books Press, it has one of my South Africa poems in it.
From their website:
Clitheroe Books Press publishes poetry pamphlets
The Press is publishing a series of pamphlets called Poet’s Dozen. The editors are Theresa Robson and Jo Harding. The first one, Flavoured as Much as Coloured, was launched on the 26 July just before the Food Festival with the theme of food. […] Anyone living in or connected to the Ribble Valley may submit a manuscript to the Press and we are always looking for new voices.
Please email Jo Harding info@clitheroebooks.co.uk
A little ray of sunshine on a dark and rainy day.

I wish I could … read and understand poetry – but we don’t agree … still I listen very closely to song lyrics – that’s some kind of poetry too.

Viveka.. try buying something edited by by Daisy Goodwin and read out loud.. poetry is so much better read aloud. http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_13?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=daisy+goodwin+poems&sprefix=daisy+goodwin%2Caps%2C349

Thank you so much … will give it a go! Never read it out loud since I left school and I had problem understanding it already then – but I’m a lot wiser today.

I LOVE Wendy Cope.
Viveka, the secret to reading poetry is to follow the punctuation, not the lines, just like a book or magazine.
