Foreign Language Poster (Photo credit: SplaTT)

A mother mouse and a baby mouse were walking along when all of a sudden, a cat attacked them.

The mother mouse goes, “WOOF! WOOF!” and the cat runs away.

“See?” says the mother mouse to her baby.  “Now do you see why it’s important to learn a foreign language?”

Cute. I recently read The Barking Mouse with my kids, and it’s the same story, where the mom BARKS. In the meantime, Dad does nothing to save his family from the cat, just freezes. Thank goodness for moms…

Thank goodness I didn’t grow up anywhere that speaks English as its first language; I won’t be learning any other languages :D.

That reminds me about the other day when I heard someone say that if you say “No Barking!” any dog will stop if if it doesn’t speak English!
