Review: Skyfall

Skyfall 007 Movie (click to view)

I haven’t seen it yet, but Spud has.  He is sixteen and unimpressable, so consider the value of this Six Word Saturday:

*

Spud says:

Best Bond film ever.

Techie went last night but we haven’t had the report yet! I heard Dame Judy on the radio discussing her role a little. What a star she is.

Hi Tilly Bud, I’m not much of a newer-Bond fan, but this guy is quite captivating. I think I’ll make an exception and see this one!

I’ve never watched a Bond movie yet, although I have seen snippets of them from time to time. I liked Sean Connery and think Daniel Craig is all wrong for the part. However, what do I know? Nothing it seems.

PS, I didn’t mention it to Gigi, but a friend of mine doing field work in India came back with Hep B or C. Of course this was a year or two ago. Time flies.

It must be, even based on the trailer….which my dear Left Brained husband stood 4 inches from our big screen TV and watched with mouth agape. I may have even saw some drooling. I had to call his name at least 6 times to get his attention and let him know that the pot on the stove – upstairs from where he came dashing from when he heard that theme music – was boiling over.
I’m a good wife: I had the trailer all cued up on my lap top for him when he came back to the kitchen. He watched it again. 4 times. I watched the pot (on the stove, to clarify!)

Is it possible for it to be THAT good, Tilly? Glad you’re “fit to trot” again.

I think we love Bond … in whatever shape and form he comes … even a not so good Bond movie is still good. We take it for what it’s and we enjoy it for what it’s – but I take Spud’s word and I’m really looking forward to this one. Can’t wait to see it. Daniel is a good Bond too, the best maybe. Thanks for this one.

I was just on someone else’s 6WS that said they saw the movie. Worst yet, I didn’t even know there was a new one out. Glad to hear your son liked it! I’m sure it is a good one indeed!

That’s so good to hear! We are looking forward to it. It won’t premier in Los Angeles for a couple of weeks yet…but we are getting lots of buzz! 🙂 My husband gets like a little boy with the Bond movies! 🙂
