6WS friend Viv is in hospital
I know a lot of you visit Viv through Six Word Saturday, so I thought you’d like to know she’s in hospital.
The phone rang yesterday:
TB: Hello? Whoisitwhaddyawantstopbotheringmewiththesestupidcoldcalls!
Viv: It’s Viv.
TB: Bev?
Viv: Viv!
TB: Bev who?
Viv: I’m going to climb out of this hospital bed and onto a plane and knock the dumb out of you if you don’t open your ears. Viv!
Okay, I might have made that last bit up, which you all know because you know how lovely and sweet and generous and kind and caring Viv is; but I don’t do mushy, so I make stuff up to mask my anxiety.
Viv’s main problem is that she’s been unhooked from wi-fi. The only cure for that is to get out of hospital ASAP and come home.
Get well soon, my lovely Viv.
Get Well SOONEST Viv!!!
(I’m like you, I don’t have or want a mobile phone, but no wifi?.. agh noooooo!!!!)

Oh, I do hope this is neither serious nor long-lasting. Viv is one of the most generous and frequent readers I have. I know that putting it that way sounds selfish, but I say it more in praise of her kindness and consideration for others. I hope she’s back among us soon!

Now as talking to Mum on phone – she says ‘Thank you Ron you do me honour.’

Get well soon Viv. Thanks for letting us know, Tilly, you are a good friend (is that too mushy?) No apologies . . .

I was wondering what you were talking about because Viv is right below you on Cate’s list, but then I went and read Viv’s post and realise it’s not Viv but her daughter posting for her. (I can’t imagine one of my boys blogging for me – but then after reading some of the rubbish they write on Facebook I’m not sure I’d want them to either)
Hope she’s okay and well on the road to recovery

Thanks – I can’t easily visit Mum being in a different country but I can give her a remote Wi-fi by telephone so she doesn’t lose touch with all her friends.
You will quickly learn that I do not have my mother’s linguistic skills – in French or English.
Must now go and ring her as I forgot to check Tilly’s blog yesterday and she will want to know what you are all up to!

I hope that Viv gets better very soon, her poor hubby must be beside himself. You’re a great friend to take on the grammatical and technical responsibilities for Viv’s blog, I saw Viv’s post earlier, hee hee.

What a good mate you are. Read “Viv’s” post first, and am still puzzling how her daughter accomplished this. Were you responsible?
Did you just meet through blogging, Tilly, or is there another connection? Hugs to you all.

Mum taught me to blog before we went on a 3 month sabbatical to the Turks and Caicos Islands in 2010/11 – it was a requirement of my sabbatical leave. Duncan now does more blogging than me but between us we do write/manage 3 blogs for public consumption.
As far as I am aware the only other connection between Tilly and Mum is the OU. Tilly?
And if you want to meet Mum and see Northumberlandia she will hopefully be making her own trip to see ‘The Lady’ sometime between the 11th March and 13th March – she booked her flights last week and I know would love to meet you!

VIV … go each on yourself and let – those handsome and sexy doctors take over. Missing you here at Tilly’s – GREAT WELL SOON and be too much hands on, with those doctors – hopefully George Clonney will turn up – he would heal much better than any medicine on earth, at least on me.

Mum says thanks to you all – she is fine but goes for an angiogram tomorrow in Caen so will be incommunicado until Tuesday and doesn’t know if she will be in the same room when she comes back to the local hospital. For those of you with her telephone number – it may change. She might even get wi-fi but then Jock will have to deliver the right cables.
Tilly – back to you for the editing of all my comments.
Mum is teasing me as I am having to ask her how to spell things.
Mum please be home soon.

A little piece of advice for Viv, ask for a second gown so one can be worn forwards and one backwards, this avoids ICU syndrome. Hope she’s well soon!!
