Weekly Photo Challenge: Green

25 Nov

I’m a bit late with this one.  So late, I haven’t had time to look for a photo so I’m going with an illustration:

It’s not the only thing I’m behind on.  Christmas shopping barely started, when I’ve usually got most of it done by now.

Today it is exactly one month to Christmas.

Not panicking.  Not panicking at all.

Not worrying much about presents this year… have lots of cards to write.
    Great green find.
    Hugs and Blessings.

    Cute green face!
Here, it was one month til Christmas yesterday (Germans give out Christmas presents on Christmas Eve). One less day for me to get everything sorted. And I’m making Christmas dinner for 9 before that – in two weeks in fact. Aarggh!

I am slowly getting things together – but I had a wish list from Fraser that now has lots of telephone nos. scribbled on it!

4 parcels were delivered to France at half term. 2 Birthday and 2 Christmas.

I am one of those who rush into the shops at the very last minute.
Really have no interest this year.
    No kids or grandkids here.

I do when it happens, but having it start 2 months early and all the commercialism and hype in the stores and on TV, really gets to me. It’s not what it was when I was a child. 😦

I just got over Thanksgiving, I’m too tired for Christmas. I need another month. I say we postpone Christmas or we make time go much, much slower. I think the second one should do.

Gloat all you like – I am impressed, yes; but I don’t like fruit cake, none of us do 🙂

The Hub and I were the only people not to have any of our wedding cake. My mother refused to let me have a sponge tier. 😦

I am giving silk scarves and neck ties this Christmas. Just wish I had bought more in India.

Just went out yesterday to look for a tree with no luck. If I hadn’t been so tired on Thursday I could have stopped at any number of tree sellers in my daughter’s town.

Are you suggesting that there are people who actually go shopping before Christmas Eve?

I have never been in such denial about Christmas being a month from now. It always sneaks up on me, but this year I’m completely off. I actually think my blogging is getting in the way. Maybe in 2013 I’ll need to enter a program for blogging addiction. In the meantime, I am glad you can make me laugh…I need that! 🙂

I am this photo! Presents arriving from online so thick and fast I’m sure I must have ordered at least twice for everyone I know and I haven’t even thought about cards yet … panicking? Totally! Nice to meet you – referred by Kate Shrewsday 🙂
