At a nursing home, a group of senior citizens were sitting around talking about their aches and pains.
“My arms are so weak I can hardly lift this cup of coffee,” said one.
“I know what you mean. My cataracts are so bad I can’t even see my coffee,” replied another.
“I can’t turn my head because of the arthritis in my neck,” said a third, to which several nodded weakly in agreement.
“My blood pressure pills make me dizzy,” another contributed.
“I guess that’s the price we pay for getting old,” winced an old man as he slowly shook his head.
There was a short moment of silence.
“Well, it’s not that bad,” said one woman cheerfully. “At least we can all still drive.”

Oh…no so funny in SoCal where some older drivers get automatic three year driver licence renew if they are not involved in an accident…be careful if you head to beach if you come here. 🙂

Yoiks that’s a bummer.- and I didn’t like the picture either, when I enlarged it so that I could read it. In France we oldies greet other oldies with “T’a mal ou?” (where does it hurt) and the reply is frequently “Partout.” (everywhere). And most of us are still on the road!

I like that greeting!

Love it ….. haven’t been driving since I was 20 … so maybe I should start again when I’m 80.
