Migraine Barbie has Snapped!

Migraine Barbie has Snapped! (Photo credit: Deborah Leigh (Migraine Chick))

I was awake early this morning.  My head insisted on it.  It banged on my skull with a hammer on one side and a brick on the other and said, I’m going to your stomach next, if you don’t take some paracetamol.

It wasn’t a migraine, in spite of the nausea, because I was still able to function.

Or, it was a migraine, but Al’s tip worked: take your painkiller of choice and a shower in the face to follow.  I tried it; the ache eased.  That or, because I screw up my face so tight against the spray, the ache slipped out of my ears.  And the Hub says I’ve got nothing between them…

I hope that it goes away for good and doesn’t linger. Mine lingered for days and it was mighty unpleasant. A compress on the brow would feel nice I’m sure and the Hub perhaps can rub your feet if he is so inclined. Feel better.:)

As a migraine sufferer…..I do feel your pain. I don’t take any special medication – just follow the advice on the Tylenol: take 2 and keep away from children 🙂
    feel better!

My wife gets migraines. They stop her in her tracks. I am fortunate. The only time I endure blinding headaches coupled with nasuea is after way too many beers or a combination of beer and something stronger.

Sorry to hear about your pain.

Perhaps one unfortunate spider got trapped in the hair, then went through your blood stream somehow……..I’m sorry — I couldn’t get your previous spider post out of my mind.

    You’ll be back soon.

I had a migraine on Saturday. Maybe that’s why I wrote such a depressing post. Migraines are no fun. They suck. I hate them and I have been having them with increasing frequency lately. Lack of sleep, weather fronts, stress all contribute.
