Cat and Mouse - Not a good combination

Old Timers’ Views On Computing

  • Memory was something you lost with age
  • An application was for employment
  • A program was a TV show
  • A mouse pad was where a mouse lived
  • A cursor used profanity
  • A keyboard was a piano
  • A web was a spider’s home
  • A virus was the flu
  • A hard drive was a long trip on the road

Reading this post made me remember your post about updating your church website – the “new website” link doesn’t go anywhere. But I had a look a the site via the “old” link.
I enjoyed the welcome message. Did you write it?

    • The Laughing Housewife May 8, 2013 at 12:23 #

No; my friend did. Lovely, isn’t it?

Thanks for the reminder! I must post an update.

      • sanstorm May 8, 2013 at 12:25 #

Yes – it was very good. Our congregation sounds similar…
