I LOVE London!

London was brilliant. I make no such claim about my photography.

London was brilliant. I make no such claim about my photography.

London was brilliant.

In 35 hours we managed to visit/see/cross/meet the Tower of London including the Crown Jewels, Tower Bridge, the Globe (of course), loads of street musicians, St Paul’s, two fellas being not very good on stunt bikes, the Millennium Bridge, the worst pizza ever made, a novelist, Regent Street, Eros, Piccadilly, a VERY fluid Macbeth (never wore so much foreign spit in my life), friendly southerners (really) and Bill Nighy!

Details to follow.

London was our first overseas trip with the kids and we LOVED London too. We even caught a glimpse of the Queen and Prince Philip. It was awesome.

London was great. I wish I could get fish and chips like that in the U.S.

Oh… and the tourist sites were nice too.

In my one trip to London, lo these many years ago, I missed the Globe theater. That won’t happen next time around. Glad you had a good time,

You better visit London via Manchester or you and I will have a falling out…

There’s only two women in the whole world whose wrath I greatly fear. Can you guess them?

Hints: I live with one and the other one blogs and talks funny. She says things like “bottoming” her house and using a “lift” and going to the “loo” and watching the “telly”

Yep, that photo is just a tad manic, but then small wonder with all that crammed into such a small window of opportunity. Glad that you enjoyed it all.

    Phew – quite a programme!
There is much about London to love, and it is easy enough to avoid the places one doesn’t.

I love London, too. You fit in so much ….. did you ever sleep? Can’t wait for the details!

Lots of foreign spit? Can’t wait to hear your stories. Your stamina was awesome — how did you manage to pack everything in? So glad you had such a fantastic time!

I would love to go to London! A friend of mine is there this past weekend for a wedding.
I’ll have to catch up on all your adventures when I return from camping next weekend.

Sounds like you did pretty well! But friendly southerners? They don;t exist! We’re all rude and grumpy down here! 😉

You crammed a lot in – did your feet ever touch the ground?

Bill Nighy?! *green with envy* And if he was dancing – *double-green with envy*

I welcome your comments but be warned: I'm menopausal and as likely to snarl as smile. Wine or Maltesers are an acceptable bribe; or a compliment about my youthful looks and cheery disposition will do in a pinch.
