I went and they were all so mean, it was all about World War II and the surrender, or about how smelly the French are. I didn’t find it very amusing especially about the war, my family was in the resistance and suffered for it so ouch. A bunch of meanies I tell you. I like your jokes much better. 🙂

I look at things I don’t want until the other shopper moves on, and if I rang the bell, I would get off the bus and walk. And I’ve always believed I was born on the wrong side of the Atlantic.

I can so identify with some of these, especially the last one.

PS your chips are fat but oh so good. How do you think I gained 10 pounds every time I traveled to Britain, it wasn’t from eating fancy French food. Next time I come I will need a wheelbarrow or a fancy scooter. Dianne

Since I’m in the States which is comprised of many nationalities, we have all those problems and more. 🙂

If I’d rung the bell, the driver would have made me get off, despite my explanation. I’m Algonquin.

I haven’t lived in England for over forty years, but I can relate to all of these. I guess my British upbringing is to blame. 😕

I thought the boxes labelled “tetley” were either soap powder or feminine hygiene products (from the colour and style of the packaging) so when I saw comments about tea I was confused… *then* I saw the tiny tea cup picture in the corner of the packets… LOL
I’ve gotten off at the wrong stop after accidently ringing the bell, mind you I’ve also gotten off at the wrong top when someone *else* rang the bell… (not paying attention and tired at the end of the day) 🙂

I welcome your comments but be warned: I'm menopausal and as likely to snarl as smile. Wine or Maltesers are an acceptable bribe; or a compliment about my youthful looks and cheery disposition will do in a pinch.
