I am a little fat. I like food; what can I say? I have dull hair: mousey. I don’t wear much make-up and have no need of a dressing table. If I look like a bag lady, I chose my own clothes. If I look nice, the Hub picked them for me. Despite all this, I am a little vain. This photograph is from 2003. I had to go back that far to find one of me that I liked. But I don’t really care: my husband still thinks I’m beautiful and if he doesn’t, he loves me enough to lie about it. I’m lucky. I have two boys. They never lie to me. Still, you can't have everything.
I would love to hear from you!

I think you are even more beautiful now. Drat: no Maltesers.

Very nice. Even a guy like me can notice you got a haircut. I’m sure your husband is most appreciative that you made his life easier. (Oh, and it looks good too. Minor detail.)

Getting a bob. So easy, even a caveman can do it.

Give your jaw a certain nobility, I think.
Question: DO YOU LIKE IT? If you do, then I do, too. 🙂

I do; thanks for the moral support 🙂

Well, I am partial to the cavewoman look, since that is my own view – generally when one of the kids wakes me up suddenly in the night and I can’t find my glasses – but honestly, you look lovely.

I have a friend who grows her hair all summer, fall, and winter, then cuts it every spring, to donate. Hers grows very fast, though…
Proud of you.

Lovely! Did you have a colour on it too? And is it ‘high maintenance’ in comparison with the old style? Only asking since I’m a wash and leave it to dry type of girl!

May we now have a more up to date header photo and gravatar?

I love the colour as it is, but the photo showed your hair looking darker than I remembered it)

Yes, it does look darker now it’s short. Which makes the grey more obvious 😦

Doesn’t it feel nice to get a fresh haircut once in a while? I saw you donated your hair to charity, good for you! I would have loved to do that but they have way too many rules here, including not too much gray. I can’t do anything about that so they don’t get to have it. 😦
LikeLike
They have similar rules here – no more than 10%. Incredibly, despite my great age, I have less than 10% grey.

I got my first great hair at 25 and that was a long time ago. It’s too bad because I would have a lot of hair to donate. 😦
