Eyes, Look Your Last…

Spud’s old room:

I’m going to be AWOB (Absent Without Blogging) for a week or two, as I’ll be decorating my new room in proper girlie colours – honeysuckle, pastel yellow, pink accents.

See you on the other side!

My son’s ceiling is painted in the same colour blue. I’ll be waiting anxiously for the big reveal in two weeks. This feels almost like a HGTV show, HGTV is a channel dedicated to shows that feature a lot of Do It Yourself projects. Your colour scheme sounds very pretty, especially Honeysuckle. Have a lot of fun redecorating! xoxox

I’m so glad you’re enjoying yourself. The combination of pink and yellow is anathema to me, but we can’t all like the same things!

And which glorious shade of Honeysuckle would that be, please? See: http://homeguides.sfgate.com/color-honeysuckle-60088.html Some of those could be a mite overpowering….how large is this room? Just teasing. šŸ™‚ Have fun.

Do remember to vent the room while painting…see you when you’ve completed the project.

Is it a case of ‘out with the old and in with the new’ Poor Spud tipped out into the big world..what happens when he wants to come home as they always do sooner or later even for a few days

What happens when the kids leave home. Mom gets three rooms. I have a bedroom, a sitting/exercise room where I seldom exercise, and a study where I don’t study anymore. David has the Master bedroom, cause he’s the Master of the House. And you know what that means…..

You’re taking over Spud’s room? A place to write or sleep?

So my hubby just moved back into the bedroom since we got new beds that raise head & feet electrically, so he doesn’t have to sleep in his recliner anymore & you’re moving out of yours? We definitely are opposite – maybe because we live on different sides of the planet? šŸ™‚

LOL, poor Spud… it didn’t take long for you to take over his room. My dad’s been on at me for yeeeears to pick up the rest of my stuff so he can convert my room into… something. Probably another place to store junk now the loft is full!

Room reno!!! I’m so excited… this really should have been live blogging so we can see all the paint samples, swatches, art work, choose books that will line the shelves you will put up – of course. Yes, I am going to live vicariously through you on this. that’s very important to understand. šŸ™‚

I welcome your comments but be warned: I'm menopausal and as likely to snarl as smile. Wine or Maltesers are an acceptable bribe; or a compliment about my youthful looks and cheery disposition will do in a pinch.
