Judyt54 made a shocking comment on my previous post – it’s been two months since I wrote it.

I’m sorry folks; I honestly didn’t know it had been that long.  In mitigation, I’ve been working on my second poetry collection; been to see VivinFrance; became a school governor; and faffed about reading free downloads from BookBub.

I’ve been wanting to tell you about France (I got back last Thursday) but I was out Saturday (Spud sang with The Tree of War cast at Manchester Cathedral) and Sunday; had a visitor yesterday; and I’m out this afternoon and tomorrow.

I’m holding up two fingers to you now – no, sorry: three fingers – and swearing on my previous career as a daily blogger that you’ll hear from me again in your lifetime.

    well… okay…but don’t let it happen again
    we miss you when you disappear like that

    I kept thinking, something terrible has happened,
    omg who died, who broke a bone, oh no! the dog!
    not the dog!

    To be fair, I know how fast time moves, and trust
    me, it moves twice as fast when you get to the
    not-quite-old state of things…

    Oh, it’s you, Tilly! I wondered who you were when I saw this post in the reader.
    Hehehe! Only joking. We all have things to do outside of Blogland. It’s good to see you again, and to know that you haven’t given up blogging is all we need to know… although I do miss your regular posts.
    That said, I keep going missing for days on end now so goodness knows when (or if) our paths will cross again…

    I am a hopeless blogger as words don’t come easily – I have at least 3 that I have been putting off. Vivinfrance kept her linguistic genes to herself. Looking forward to seeing more of your vivsit to Mum’s. Sally
