Did you know that Santa has thirteen reindeer?

There’s Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen.   That makes eight reindeer.  

Then, according to the song, there’s another five: Rudolph, Olive, Trey, Howe and Andy:

Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
had a very shiny nose.
And if you ever saw him,
you would even say it glows. 

Olive the other reindeer
used to laugh and call him names.
Trey never let poor Rudolph
join in any reindeer games.

Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say:
“Rudolph with your nose so bright,
won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?”

Then Howe the reindeer loved him
Andy shouted out with glee,
“Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer,
you’ll go down in history!”
