Sidey’s Weekend Theme is Sunshine. Here in Stockport we don’t get much sunshine, being the English equivalent of Twilight‘s town of Forks, minus the pretty vampires. So, just rain, then.
We have to make our own sunshine, so here you go – some fake sunshine, courtesy of You Tube:
Now that you are as depressed as we Stopfordians usually feel, here’s something that actually works like sunshine is supposed to:
Have a great weekend, flowers!

How to have fun in spite of rain:
We had summer yesterday and the day before. 7 ladies sewed on the veranda in shirtsleeves, gossiped and ate coffee and walnut cake. Today it is cold and wet and b….y miserable.
Thank you for the music.

Ha! Try streaking naked across the park in the full moonlight. No need for sunshine!

The sun has been playing peek a boo here in Blandford. One day I see you the next day I don’t. Excellent selection of video’s Tilly, a perfect little pick me up.:)

We usually have sunshine, but today, when we need sunshine for our Battle of Flowers Parade for Fiesta, we have a bit of drizzle. The weatherman assures us that it will only be overcast by noon, parade-time. I truly hope so or he will have 500,000 disgruntled and wet people, as well as soggy confetti eggs. Pretty sunflowers.

I couldn’t bring myself to listen to the YouTube clips – both tracks are close to my Scottish/optimistic heart. Great to see the dancing in the rain pic again. I do running in the rain as I can’t dance.
My post today is weather-based also 🙂

Remember that Swann and Flanders gag about summer? Oh yes, summer. Missed in last year; I was in the bathroom!
You are very cute, by the way, as we say in my country.

Great sunshine there to brighten the day. 🙂 Actually the sun is shining here at the moment but the day started off dull and very wet (yes, actual rain!) and we didn’t see the sun till the middle of the afternoon.

They make those sunlight lamps to fight depression…you might try one and see if it works when you’re feeling a bit down…but you seem to maintain high spirits most of the time despite the rain…have a great weekend.

You know, they say it is a myth that Sunny South Africa gets more than the UK. We get day upon day of gloom. I seldom recall a day there where the sun didn’t at least put in a token appearance!
