Weekly Photo Challenge: Flowers

21 Aug

This is my beautiful niece-in-law on her wedding day.  Actually, she’s the Hub’s nephew’s wife, so that would make her my niece-in-law-in-law.  She’s lovely, and she’s given me two great-nephews.  In-law.  And they’re not just great-nephews, but great great-nephews.  I love them.  I love babies.  I miss babies.  I wish I’d had more babies of my own.  My own babies are just about grown up now.  Sigh.

What was the prompt again?

Oh my! Tilly B I cannot think of anything worse than having more babies .
Mind you I am that bit older than you…

Now it is fine..I can hold them , admire them , coo-coo them and then give them back. I can have all the pleasure and none of the work.

My eldest baby is 53 this year

I still get broody, but surpress it ASAP – as Miss Whiplash says, ibabies are better in rationed amounts. Your neice in law is a real beauty, as is the outfit.

Love your photo and your comment on babies…
I find being a Nana is all I can handle now…but do love their little faces, fingers and toes…
everything about them. But that wears me out ! Now I wonder why women fifty and older want to actually HAVE a baby rather than borrow a “grand” and be able to return it to the much younger parents !

Thanks for sharing. Love to read everything you write and share.

I’m too tired to have another one now, but it would have been nice to have a couple more when I was younger.

She is so beautiful. Did you take the photo? Good job, if you did. What you need is a grandkid. I love mine, both of them.

The Hub took it; I can’t match him for ability.

Grandkids will be lovely…eventually. My own kids need to live a bit first 🙂

I could reply to the fact that you are well prompted…but that may be misconstrued as a compliment… I am am just going to say that I was too tired to have my children when I was young but we all survived. Your niece in-law, in-law is lovely … I want to see her photo 10 years from now…

Love this picture. As far as children go, Grandchildren are the best. the more the merrier. I hope you are blessed with lots of the little darlings once your children are ready.

I welcome your comments but be warned: I'm menopausal and as likely to snarl as smile. Wine or Maltesers are an acceptable bribe; or a compliment about my youthful looks and cheery disposition will do in a pinch.
