Sounds so good on this cold wet day here in Australia!

    • The Laughing Housewife June 15, 2013 at 10:57 #

It’s cold and wet here, too. At least you can say it’s because it’s winter; we don’t have that excuse 😦

I used to have old friends. Now I am one. I hope you raise a celebratory glass with that dinner. Nothing goes as well with a roast as a toast.

He always does. Sounds a bit like me- Sundays are hectic sometimes but this morning I just watched the final of the French Open tennis. (I was in Nottingham last weekend and missed it) Got to catch up when you can. 🙂

Have fun and enjoy your company! the hubby likes to do beer bottom chicken on the BBQ. you literally stick a can of beer up the chickens butt and then it sits on a stand to BBQ. sounds ridiculous, but is really tender and juicy.

I love this kind of chicken!

I welcome your comments but be warned: I'm menopausal and as likely to snarl as smile. Wine or Maltesers are an acceptable bribe; or a compliment about my youthful looks and cheery disposition will do in a pinch.
