How Peculiar

An odd thing happened yesterday.

My main post [which took almost three hours to complete; I hope you appreciate me as you should] was published around ten a.m.

I went to the homepage as usual, to make sure it appeared, looked okay and to pick up the one typo I missed on my seventeen previous checks.

It did appear – underneath the joke post that I posted around four a.m.

When I checked, the post I had just posted was said to have been posted twenty-two hours earlier.  It hadn’t even been twenty-two minutes.

Does anyone know why?

I think wp must be doing stuff because I am having a whole heap of weird problems – not as weird as your problems but you are Tilly after all (just kidding!)

First sign of impending space alien invasion: time warp mechanisms employed to disorient the indigenous population. All your base are belong to us.

I’ve had “the weirds” too. The entirety of my sidebar decided to appear below my post. And I’m not even Tilly. Huh. 😆

I’m happy to hear there is another obsessive-compulsive speller out there. Even with spell check some things can go wrong. No matter how hard I try, the checker just can’t get the difference between there and their. Dianne

I always just to the conclusion that it must be me that is doing something wrong….. but I do believe that the WordPress gremlins do mysterious things at times. 🙂

I have a theory which applies well here: the reason things like this happen is that once, a long time ago, you chose WordPress for your blog!!! 😎

I think all blogs have inner devils that like to tease and taunt us at times. The post appeared so that is the main thing.

Maybe your post took a trip somewhere and it registered the time difference? I’m still experiencing jet lag just a bit, time traveling is quite wearying.

Leaves on the internet line… a typically British problem apparently !

Maybe it’s something to do with scheduling. Was the one scheduled and the other immediate?

Could it been aliens ???? They need some great stuff to read too .. and some bad jokes. Or it could a grey moment of wordpress.

I welcome your comments but be warned: I'm menopausal and as likely to snarl as smile. Wine or Maltesers are an acceptable bribe; or a compliment about my youthful looks and cheery disposition will do in a pinch.
